Bouncing the Promo Department in Denver

Word is that the Scripps station in Denver is gutting their Promotion Department.
There has been no formal announcement, but sources are telling FTVLIve that Scripps owned KMGH that a large number of staffers in the department are being kicked to the curb.
"It's being kept hush hush for some reason," and insider told FTVLive.
KMGH often lags far behind in the ratings, so you might think that having a promo dept would be kind of valuable.
Guess not.
