WNBC Hires Former CBS Early Show Anchor (Updated)

Looks like the Price is right at WNBC.  

Sources tell FTVLive that WNBC in New York has hired former CBS Early Show Weather Anchor Dave Price to do weekend weather at the NBC O&O. 

Price most recently worked at WNYW, but was let go in 2013 after the station shuffled anchors around.

Price has also worked in Philly and Chicago.

Price has filled in a few times in the past few weeks at WNBC. He was spotted filling in on 'Today in New York' and station's noon show.

FTVLive has reached out to Price for comment, we will let you know if we hear back. 

Update: Our source tells FTVLive there is no done deal, but the two sides are talking. The station did announce that Erica Grow from WUSA was hired for Weekends, so where not sure what show this leaves Price available?

We have yet to hear back from Price. If we do, we'll update the story.
