Dayton Anchor Heads to Seattle

WKEF (Dayton) Weekend Anchor Alexandra Lewis is headed to Seattle's KCPQ to Anchor their Saturday newscasts. 

Lewis has been in Dayton just 2 years, before moving on. Before Dayton, Lewis worked freelance at KPRC in Houston for a year. Before Houston, Lewis spent a year at KFLY in Lafayette, LA.

Here is the internal memo sent to the staff from News Director Erica Hill and obtained by FTVLive:

I’m excited to announce a new addition to our team. Alexandra Lewis will be joining Q13 FOX the week of July 27th. She will be anchoring Saturday nights and reporting during the week.

Alexandra joins us from WKEF/WRGT in Dayton Ohio where she has been a reporter and weekend anchor since 2013. Prior to that, Alexandra worked as a reporter at KPRC in Houston and at KFLY in Lafayette Louisiana.

Alexandra is a hard hitting journalist who is passionate about the stories she tells and the community she serves. She has already fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest and is excited to work with all of you.
