New Anchor Hire in the A-T-L

Atlanta's WGCL has hired a new Anchor/Reporter.

The station announced that Aiyana Cristal will be joining the staff as a Reporter/Anchor.  Her first day will be January 4th.

“We’re thrilled to have Aiyana coming to CBS46 and joining our team.  She has experience in a number of large markets and we look forward to getting her on-air,” said WGCL News Director Larry Perret.  

Cristal comes to Atlanta from Comcast SportsNet in Chicago where she was an Anchor/Reporter.  

She has also spent time at WPLG in Miami, KTHV in Little Rock and WICD in Champaign, Illinois.  

“Atlanta is great city and I can’t wait to get started with the CBS46 team and to get involved in the community,” said Cristal.
