This is CNN....

CNN global affairs correspondent Elise Labott sent out a tweet after the house passed a bill strengthening the screening process for refugees fleeing Syria.

The tweet included her own thoughts on the bill passing:

It didn't take long for the Twitterverse to fire back at how an "impartial" CNN Reporter could post such a tweet? 

After catching heat, almost 8 hours later, Labott offered up an apology:

Word is that CNN has suspended Labott, yet Don Lemon still remains employed.
