Pushed out in the Twin Cities

After more than 30 years KTSP Traffic and Entertainment Reporter Rusty Gatenby has been kicked to the curb.

Gentenby took to social media to confirm the news:

"Hey everyone.. well it's true.. after more than 30 years at KSTP I am moving on. I have nothing bad to say, in fact, I feel truly lucky for the amazing times I've had. I challenge anyone to have had more fun at a job than I have. I hope to see you all again down the road. In the meantime, I'm going to take a long long nap."

KSTP News Director Lindsay Radford confirmed that that Gatenby was gone from the station, but would not say anything else citing this as a personnel matter.

Because you know, this is the communications business.
