Sweeping Up in Des Moines

The November book has long been over, but sweeps numbers continue to trickle in from the smaller markets.
Checking in now is Des Moines and the big winner is KCCi.
KCCI swept every time period this November.
In November 2012, WHO-TV scored a big victory in the ratings by winning the 6 p.m. newscast for the first time in years. But not this year.
Among all households, KCCI scored a 36 share at 6 p.m. vs. WHOs 26 share. Last year, WHO had a 29 share vs. KCCIs 28. The share indicates what percentage of television sets in use were tuned to the program.
Among the coveted 25- to 54-year-old demographic, KCCI won at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. WHO won in the mornings and noon.
