LA News Director "Resigns"

Earlier Today, FTVLive FIRST told you that something was going down with KTTV News Director Kingsley Smith. 

Left Coast Sources tell FTVLive that Smith "resigned" from the station a short time ago. 

Smith had not been seen in the newsroom for over a week and had not posted anything to his Twitter account since October 15th. 

Smith joined KTTV in June 2011 coming from Fox's WTXF Philadelphia.

Now, just two days before the start of the November book, the station is without a News Director.
