It looks like 5 deaths was enough for Dr. Drew. ​

The TV Doc says he is pulling the plug on his show Celebrity Rehab.

The show which was a better predictor of who to take next in your celebrity death pool than it was a rehabbing people is canceled. ​

“I don’t have any plans to do it anymore,” Dr. Drew said “I am tired of taking all the heat, it is just ridiculous.”

5 of Drew's "patients" that were featured on the show are now dead. ​

NBC's Jenna Wolfe is finally getting some down time since dropping the news back in March that she was not only gay, but she was pregnant ​as well. 

Wolfe made the announcement ​on the Today Show that she and her partner, NBC News foreign correspondent Stephanie Gosk, are expecting a baby.

Since then, Wolfe had not slowed down a bit. She's been busy with Weekend Today and doing reporting as well.​

She finally got a couple of days off. (in a row!).

KGUN in Tucson had a story of an elderly woman that was the victim of a home invasion robbery.

But, it looked like the thugs picked the wrong woman to rob. The old lady was not afraid ​of the bad guys and she didn't mind dropping a few F-bombs on them, or on KGUN's newscast.

The old broad ​threw down a "motherfucker".

The story was on tape, but someone forget to edit out the salty language and it was clear as day when it hit the air.

Former Anchor Now Reads Poetry Instead of News

Rob Morrison used read the news on WCBS in New York. 

Now the disgraced former anchor says he starts off his day reading ​the inspirational Rudyard Kipling poem “If” daily to himself.

“I read that every single morning when I wake up and it helps ... put things in perspective,” Morrison told the NY Daily News.

Morrison, who was fired....errrrr.....quit his high-profile post on WCBS in February after he was charged with choking and threatening to kill his wife, CBS MoneyWatch anchor Ashley Morrison, said he has also turned for solace to charity work and the woeful Mets as he tries to put his life back together.

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that WFOR Anchor Shannon Hori was going to be leaving the station this Summer. ​

We now know where she will be anchoring next.​

Starting July 1st, Hori will be become the main anchor at WAVE, the NBC affiliate in Louisville.

Hori worked Dallas and Orlando before landing the evening anchor gig at WFOR in Miami.

Now, she drops down in market and were betting salary for her next job in the smaller market of Louisville. But, she is no stranger to the market. Hori was the one time morning anchor at WLKY, the CBS affiliate in the market.

KCCI Morning Anchor Katie Ward said she is leaving the station to...say it with me..."spend more time with her family". 

News Director Dave Busiek said Ward is leaving to take care of her two children, a 3 year old and a 15 month old.

Busiek said Ward will leave "sometime this summer" and that her departure has been discussed for some time. "We've already started looking" for a new morning anchor to join Steve Karlin, he said.

Ward has been with KCCI since March 2006 and became the morning anchor in August 2010.

And not everyone is liking it.​

Slate writes that the female newscaster of today does sexy in a very specific way. It is sleeveless sexy, an age-defying, loose-skin-defying means of telling the world that she worked out this morning and every morning, long before she went to hair and makeup and started broadcasting the nation’s news, long before viewers even considered waking up.

WBIN in Concord, New Hampshire put on such a lousy news product that they finally just gave up. ​

The broadcast a newscast Friday night at 10PM, on Monday it wasn't there. ​

The station refused to even comment on them pulling the plug on the newscast. 

“There are strategic decisions regarding programming that we don’t discuss,” said Periklis Karoutas, the company’s vice president of political affairs and public relations.

That's good, yank the news and then refuse to discuss it. What a joke of a station.  ​

Allbritton has just hung out a for sale sign for their stations.​

The company owns seven full-power ABC affiliates including WJLA Washington, said today that its considering selling the group, among other "strategic alternatives."

"There can be no assurance that the exploration of strategic alternates will result in the consummation of any transaction," the family-owned company said in a statement, noting that there is no timetable for action.

CBS big boss Les Moonves says is out to get Aereo by any means necessary, but he “doesn’t lose sleep over it”. the

“Barry Diller has done what he likes to do, disrupt things,” Moonves says.

Instead of standing on the shore and telling viewers how dangerous rip currents can be, WPTV (West Palm Beach) Reporter Ryan Calhoun ​decided to do some "look at me TV".

Calhoun wadded into the ocean waters and into a rip current that pulled him out to deeper waters.​

He was with a lifeguard when he did it and it's a good thing. He needed the lifeguard ​to help him out.

KDVR in Denver is breaking with sweeps tradition and doing some actual reporting.

Instead of doing some stunt on where their former anchors are or swimming around in the ocean, the station is looking at the gun laws.​

Reporter Josh Bernstein went undercover to a Babies “R” Us parking lot to buy a very adult toy: an Uzi.

“I mean the beauty of this gun is it’s pretty well-balanced when you’re holding it with two hands,” the unidentified seller told Bernstein.

In just hours, Bernstein was able to obtain several high-powered guns from private sellers in Denver-area parking lots...

The News Gods looked down from the heavens and gave the LA stations what they crave for the ratings book.​

A car chase.​

Some "rocket scientist" ​thought that he would be able to outrun the LAPD in a van. The LA stations were all over the coverage with their news choppers.

The cops threw down some spike strips and the van's tires were ruined. The suspect bailed and started to run of foot.

He was running pretty ​damn fast until he hit a wet spot, slipped and the cops were all over him.
