The TV critic that knows Chicago television better than anyone else is taking a buyout from his employer.​

Rober Feder who work for the Chicago Sun Times for like 93 years, left the paper when they offered him a buyout.

He ended up at Time Out Chicago...which was just sold. Now, Feder is taking another buyout (this guy is a pro at this).​

The New Time Out will no longer print a paper and will go digital only. ​

Bounced in the Big Easy

Chris Rose has been handed his walking papers at WVUE in New Orleans.

Rose produced taped commentaries and “60 Second Interview”segments for the Fox affiliate. But he was given his 30-day termination notice in mid-March, and was told then that the decision was based on budget restrictions.

Although Rose isn't so sure that the budget was the reason he was bounced. ​

He points to one of his commentaries back in January.

'Missing' Anchor Returns to the Air Tonight

On February 27th, KEYT Anchor Paula Lopez was reported missing, a frantic search was launched to try and find the missing anchor. ​

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff Department lead  a search effort along with Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue.

Not long after Lopez was reported missing her family contacted authorities ​and informed them that she was home safe and sound. 

She nor her family would give any details as to what happened?The station released this statement "the family will not make any further comments regarding the circumstances surrounding her disappearance."

Yesterday, FTVLive told you the sad news of WPTY Chief Meteorologist Mark Walden who was found dead in his home over the Weekend.

When Waldan was reported dead, rumors started swirling around the Memphis market as to what caused the death of the 38 year old weatherman.

There were reports that he was very sick on Friday and left the station early. There were also the rumors of suicide?

Across the street at WREG, News Director Bruce Moore sent and internal memo to the staff warning them to stick to facts and not rumors. Moore warned that in the Social Media world it is easy for rumors to run wild.​

FTVLive has been telling you about WKMG Traffic Reporter Jessica Sanchez and her fight with cancer.​

​This morning on the morning news, Sanchez will shave her head. 

"She’s in good spirits and she's staying positive," WKMG news director Steve Hyvonen said Friday. "She's going through an ordeal that anyone who has been through chemotherapy knows. Her hair is falling out."

A Morning show in Sweden was talking about the North Korean tensions, they had two guests on and put up a graphic showing it's leader Kim Jong Un and and map of North Korea. 

The way the graphic was put together it inadvertently ​made it appear that Kim Jong Un was sitting with the show's guests.

The station might want to tweak the graphic a bit, before using it again.  ​
