Houston Sports Anchor is Gone

There has been no official word, but it looks like KPRC has parted ways with Weekend Sports Anchor Kyle Montgomery.  

His bio has been removed from the station's website and his official station Facebook page deleted. 

Montgomery joined the Houston Post-Newsweek station last June replacing Winston Dutchin.

He came to the Houston NBC affiliate from Raycom Sports' Atlantic Coast Conference channel where he had worked since 2011. Before that, Montgomery worked at NBA TV's GameTime and The Jump. From 2008-2011, he was with Turner Sports and hosted Cartoon Networks first sports show Run it Back. He also worked at WSFA 12 Montgomery, AL and WDAM in Hattiesburg, MS.

No word on why he left the station or where he is headed next.​
