That was Quick! New GM, ND named in Tulsa

Talk about filling the job while the bodies are still warm. ​

Just minutes after the Cox station in Tulsa Fired their GM and News Director, they already named their replacements.​

KOKI fired GM Holly Allen and ND Matt Brown and minutes later named Greg Bilte as the general manager and Suzanne Nadell as the new News Director.

"We are thrilled that we can tap such phenomenal internal talent for these important leadership positions at our newest TV brands," said CMG executive VP of broadcast Bill Hoffman. "Greg and Suzanne will play pivotal roles in leading the professionals at KOKI and KMYT to continue informing, inspiring, entertaining and improving the Tulsa community."

Bite comes from the Cox station in San Francisco (KTVU). Nadell was an EP at the Cox station in Atlanta (WSB).​ 

Tulsa GM and ND Kicked to the Curb

Sources tell FTVLive of a big shake up in Tulsa.

Word is that KOKI (Fox Affiliate) GM Holly Allen and ND Matt Brown, have been told to pack up their desks. They have both be let go by the station. 

Staffers at the station were told this happened less than a half hour ago (3:30PM EDT)​

Brown has been at the station since May 2011, he was hired from KXAN.​

The station is owned by Cox Media. ​

When Rob Morrison was arrested, police said that while in custody ​he was still making statements about harming his wife.

When Morrison was asked about those statements, he said he didn't say that and was surprised as anyone to see ​police say that.

This morning the NY Daily News said Morrison was planning on writing a "tell all" book that he hoped would be also turned into a TV Show.​

Morrison responded to that story Today.​

New Name, New Station

Former KPRC 2 (Houston) morning reporter Mariza Reyes has a new station and a new name.

The newly married Mariza Mendoza just joined KSAT 12 in San Antonio as a reporter.

Mendoza left KPRC in 2011 after being at the station for five years.

Before Houston, she worked at WLUC-TV in Marquette, Michigan, WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, N.M., KGMB-TV in Honolulu, Hawaii and WSYX-TV in Columbus, Ohio.
