Norah O'Donnell Behind the Camera

Norah O'Donnell Behind the Camera

CBS's Norah O'Donnell had a story on last night's 60 Minutes profiling

Sheryl Sandberg, the Facebook executive whose new book Lean In has captivated the attention of the media and of women across the country.

Sandberg ruffles some feathers by saying that women are unintentionally holding themselves back in the workplace. In the "60 Minutes" profile, Sandberg pushes back at her critics. “My message is not one of blaming women. There is an awful lot we don’t control,” she says. “There is an awful lot we can control and we can do for ourselves to sit at more tables, raise more hands.”

But what about the woman that performed the interview? More after the Hop

Obama Pokes Fun at Bob Woodward

r-OBAMA-REPORTERS-large570.jpg

President Obama at a little bit of fun with the recent "Bob Woodward Threats."

At the Gridiron Dinner Saturday night, Obama said:

"Some folks couldn't make it this evening," Obama said during his remarks at the dinner. "Bob Woodward sends his regrets, which Gene Sperling predicted. I have to admit this whole brouhaha had me a little surprised. Who knew Gene could be so intimidating? Or let me phrase it differently: Who knew anybody named Gene could be this intimidating? Now I know that some folks think we responded to Woodward too aggressively. But, hey, ... can anybody tell me when an administration has ever regretted picking a fight with Bob Woodward? What's the worst that could happen?"

Word is that one of those spots will be filled by Brooke Shields. Sources say that Shields will be joining the gang of ABC morning show once Hasselbeck is gone.

Word is that Barbara Walters likes the idea of Shields.  The 47-year-old actress has already guest hosted on The View and fits the show's demo perfectly.  She’s articulate, has Hollywood connections perfect for nabbing interviews, is the right age, and is a mom!

Twin Cities Station Adds and Loses On Air Staff

WCCO-TV has some changes in its reporter ranks. Susan-Elizabeth Littlefield (pictured), who most recently was at WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C., joined the station last week. She covered the recent snowstorm -- a novelty for the Georgia native who had to ask co-workers for tips on how to dress for the weather. She also shoveled snow for the first time. There's nothing like a hearty Minnesota welcome.

The station is also adding a reporter to its sports department. David McCoy -- a former sports intern at WCCO who comes from WSBT-TV in South Bend, Ind. -- will start his new gig on March 18. He will report on sports during the week and for "Rosen's Sports Sunday" and will fill in on the anchor desk when Mark Rosen or Mike Max are on vacation.

And after a year and a half at WCCO, reporterChris Stanford left the station at the end of February for a job as weekend anchor at KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Mo.
