Well, now it's official, staffers at KTVX were informed that Severson is the new ND.

Rob Thompson, EP has been promoted to assistant ND.

We hate to say we told you so (who are we kidding, we LOVE saying that).​

Serverson starts at the station in 2 weeks. ​

​Yesterday, FTVLive told you about the arrest of  WLBT Weather Anchor Eric Law on charges of having sex with a girl under the age of 16.

So far, court papers have not said how old the girl is, but if convicted, Law could be going away for a very long time. ​

Matt Baldridge, the attorney for Law  said his client allowed police to conduct a search of Law’s home at 284 Belle Rose Circle on Thursday morning. Law surrendered to police about 11 a.m. after being told of the charges — two counts of sexual battery and two counts of gratification of lust.

GMA pulled in 5.67 million total viewers and 2.13 million adults 25-54.

Ann Curry Executioner Matt Lauer and the rest of the Today Show gang fell to almost a million viewers behind GMA.

Today pulled in 4.82 million total viewers and 2.03 million in the demo

CBS This Morning drew 3.01 million and 1.15 million viewers. ​

Joy Behar is Leaving The View for Zuckerville

It looks like Joy Behar was sick of the View.​

After 16+ years on the ABC Gabfest, Behar is signing off from 'The View.'​

She plans on leaving the show this Summer.

“It seemed like the right time,” she told Deadline. “You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my standup.”

Bumped up to the Mothership

Don Dahler, the WCBS weekend anchor, is leaving the station, but he's not going far.

Word is the New York anchor is going to be a correspondent for CBS News.

FishbowlNY says that although Dahler’s time at WCBS was productive, it can also be described as dizzying. He joined WCBS in September 2007, initially as weekend evening anchor. By May 2008, Dahler was named weekday noon and 6 p.m. co-anchor.

That lasted until September 2011 when Dahler was shifted back to weekends to make way for Chris Wragge following his stint on The Early Show.

Sources say Dahler will be based in New York as a reporter for the CBS Evening News and CBS This Morning.

Weatherman Busted for Sex with Child

WLBT (Jackson, Miss) Weather Anchor Eric Law has been arrested by cops,​ accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

Law is charged with two counts of sexual battery and two counts of gratification of lust.

Cops say the arrest is the result of an allegation that Law had inappropriate contact with a girl under the age of 16.

The judge has set bond at $50,000 per count, for a total of $200,000.

"Eric Law has been suspended until further notice," said WLBT News Director Wilson Stribling.

​Law has been with the station since 2004. 

Fox Names GM of Charlotte Stations

Fox has named the person that will run their new O&O's in Charlotte.

Karen Adams will be the VP and general manager of the anticipated Fox duopoly, stations are WJZY (Fox) and WMYT.

Effective upon FCC approval of sale of the stations by Capitol Broadcasting, Adams will be responsible for overseeing the stations’ business and operations, reporting to Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations. 

Adams spent the last 16 years as president-GM of WGHP Greensboro, N.C., which was a Fox O&O from 1996 to 2008. Prior to becoming GM, she held a variety of positions at WGHP, including VP of programming, VP of creative services and community involvement and camera operator, which was her first position at the station.
