Houston Producer Spends Time Helping Blind

Houston Producer Spends Time Helping Blind

Just to show you that Producers can be good people (I know many TV people don't believe that). We offer up a Producer from KTRK in Houston.

KTRK ABC13 special projects producer Justin Sternberg has put his body through a lot and I'm not just talking about his TV career. On the side, he's been running since 2005. It started with the half marathon and then moved on to a triathlon.

But it was when he was preparing stories for the ABC owned station's Chevron Houston Marathon coverage that he found something that would be one of his greatest physical and mental challenges.

President "Hangs Out" with Press Corp.

President "Hangs Out" with Press Corp.

A day after the White House press corps expressed "extreme frustration" in not getting access to cover President Obama's golf weekend, which included an outing Sunday with Tiger Woods, the president met with the White House pool aboard Air Force One. The conversation, however, was off the record.

"AF1 wheels down Andrews at 7:45pm. POTUS came back to have a 10-minute off the record talk with pool at the end of the flight," Wilson wrote.

So did Obama come back to offer an olive branch?

My Day Has No Time Clock

illusion-clock-.jpg

When FTVLive was behind a paywall, my work day started about 4:45AM.

I would wake up, bounce through the emails and start checking the web for stories. After the morning update, I would take a few hours off and then come back in the afternoon.

I would make calls, check email and start getting ready for the next day.

Now, my day is completely different.
