Deceased Reporter Up for Best Anchor Nomination
/You know those magazines that run "The Best of _______" contest?
The ones that have TV people logging on and voting for themselves over and over again.
Well, there is a contest going on now for the Best of Lynchburg and they have a category for "Best News Anchor".
You might notice that WDBJ's Allison Parker is on the list. Parker is neither an Anchor, or even alive.
Parker a Reporter with WDBJ was murdered while doing a live shot for the station just over a year ago.
Now, it was a nice gesture to put her name in the category of best Anchor, but it is now likely the other, actual Anchors don't stand a chance in winning.
No matter how many friends they tell to vote.
