Spending Time with the Family

Viewers have been missing WLFI (West Lafayette, IND) Anchor Gina Quattrocchi from the station's 5 and 6PM newscasts.

Well, the station has finally gotten around to telling viewers what is going on?

WLFI says that Quattrocchi is taking time off from the station to spend more time with her family.  Hmmmm? I've never heard that before in TV news.

But she is slated to return to the station later this Fall.

“Our oldest is just starting kindergarten and I want to be there for him when he gets home,” Quattrocchi said. While she is currently taking time off, she will be returning to the station later this fall.

“I’m having a great time spending time with my boys but I do miss all my friends at the station,” Quattrocchi said. “I’ve enjoyed being part of the WLFI family since 1998. It’s a privilege to be a member of this team and I can’t wait to return in the fall and continue serving my community. Thank you for allowing me into your homes for so many years. I’ll see you soon.”

It appears by looking at the picture, Quattrocchi will have no problem paying the bills. Her two boys look to be police officers and that has to help when the rent is due.
