Rochester Station Names new News Director

WHEC in Rochester has been without a News Director since announced that he was up and leaving the station back in March. 

Now the Hubbard owned station has finally gotten around to hiring a new news boss. The station named Casey Clark as the new ND. 

Clark comes from Sinclair owned WBFF where is has been for 3+ years.

Good Evening,
 
I am thrilled to announce we have hired Casey Clark as News Director for WHEC, Rochester, NY, USA.
 
Casey comes to us from WBFF in Baltimore where he has been Assistant News Director for the last 3.5+ years. Prior to WBFF he has worked in leadership roles in newsrooms at several very prominent stations/groups (WPTV-Scripps; WTLV- Gannett; WBAL- Hearst; KYW- CBS; KOMO- Fisher).  He has an extensive background in producing and investigative journalism and believes firmly in advocating for our community. 
 
He has a very diverse career, he left the News business from 2005-2010 to help his Family’s business, he has also run for congress.  Casey is married to his High School sweetheart Emily and they have two college age children.  He will be starting at the station on Monday August 29th.  Please reach out and welcome Casey to our family (*******@gmail.com).
