Lester Holt Lands in the Chaos at LAX
/NBC Nightly News Anchor Lester Holt got one hell of a greeting as he landed at LAX airport last night.
As Holt was getting off the plane in Los Angeles, people were running and screaming saying that shots had been fired at the airport.
While passengers were running from terminal 4, Holt was placed in a car on the runway and driven across the tarmac away from the airport.
It turns out the reports of shots fired were unfounded. LAPD, tweeted that "report of shooting at LAX proven to be loud noises only" and further that "no shots fired no injuries investigation continues to locate source."
