Dispatch Looking to Sell Indianapolis Station (Updated)

Sources tell FTVLive that WTHR might soon be hanging a for sale sign on the front door.
Word is that Dispatch has been quietly talking about putting the NBC affiliate up for sale. The Dispatch Broadcast Group also owns WBNS in Columbus, OH but sources say that Dispatch has no interest in selling that station.
There is no doubt that many media companies would have interest in WTHR if it was to go on the block.

Update: Dispatch sources now tell FTVLive that WBNS in Columbus may also be in play. So, it appears that longtime Dispatch boss John Wolfe dies, the company is ready top ditch the TV stations. Word is that Tegna, Tribune and Hearst have shown interest in the stations.
