Crossing the Street in Augusta

Word is that popular Augusta weatherman Jay Jefferies has found a new home at WFXG.
Jefferies was working across the street at WAGT but was left unemployed when Gray bought WAGT and started simulcasting WRDW on WAGT this year.
He's extremely popular in Augusta. This is the first of the new in-house talent WFXG will be hiring when they launch in-house news later this year.
It's quite possible Raycom owned WFXG will try to also sway more former WAGT staffers who were left unemployed as a result of the Gray merger.
