FTVLive got a few emails about this story that was reported on ABC's World News Tonight.
ABC News was covering the story of the boy that was killed on water slide at the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas.
On Sunday night Anchor Tom Llamas said that the ride was as tall as the the Empire State Building.
On Monday night David Muir said the same thing.
A water slide as tall as the Empire State Building? Really? That would mean that the highest structure in Kansas.
When ABC went to the field report both nights, it was noted the ride was as tall as the Statue of Liberty.
The difference between the two is almost 1,300 feet. Which is almost the exact same difference that ABC's credibility dropped after these two reports.
