Twitter Tees Off on Brian Williams
/Former NBC Nightly News Anchor Brian Williams caught some flack on social media after comparing President Obama to Richard Pryor.
Williams was telling his viewers about Obama making his first campaign stop with Hillary Clinton. He compared Obama’s delivery to that of Richard Pryor, the much-awarded but highly controversial comedian.
That got the Twitterverse a bit worked up:
A footnote to all this, Brian Williams actually taught Richard Pryor how to do stand up. Just ask him about it.
