Longtime Miami Wxman: Stick a Fork in Me, I'm Done

A few weeks ago, WFOR (Miami) Weather Anchor John Gerard, signed a two year extension to his contract. 

So viewers more than a bit surprised when they logged onto Gerard's Facebook page. 

Along with WFOR, Gerard has also worked at WPLG and WTVJ in the market. He was also the Chief Met at WOAI in San Antonio.

No word why he decided to up and quite after just signing an extension with the station.
