Former Houston News Director Resurfaces Across the Street

Back in July of 2014, FTVLive told you that longtime KTRK News Director Dave Strickland had resigned from the station. 

Strickland had been missing from work for weeks and the told the staff he was leaving. In the memo, Strickland cited the job was affecting his family, life and personal relationships.

Well, two years later and Strickland is resurfacing in Houston, this time across the street at KPRC. Strickland is replacing Rhonda LaVelle, who left the station last month to become the ND at WXYZ in Detroit. 

Strickland was News Director at KTRK for 14 years, he started at the station as an intern. 

It's a small business.
