/WSB (Atlanta) Reporter Nefertiti Jáquez tweeted out the "exclusive" news that Atlanta Police had fired one of their officers involved in a shooting:
The problem was, the story was not "exclusive", hell it was even first.
WAGA's Deidra Dukes had the story almost 20 minutes before WSB. And she had a picture of the officer that was fired.
WXIA Reporter Rebecca Lindstrom was a few minutes behind Dukes with the news, but still way ahead of Jáquez's "exclusive".
At best, Jáquez's was 3rd with the story that she slugged "exclusive." And yet, some still don't understand why people don't trust the media.
