A real estate agent is suing Ellen DeGeneres over a joke the talk show host made about her name.

Titi Pierce says that DeGeneres made fun of her name on top of a "for sale" sign. During a segment of her skit “What's Wrong With These Ads...and These Signs,” Ellen pronounced Pierce’s name as “Titty” as she displayed one of the woman’s advertising signs.

“Prior to defendant’s misdeeds, Ms. Pierce has been called only by her name ‘Titi,’ which, as grammar dictates, is pronounced ‘TEE TEE,'” a lawsuit filed in a Georgia court last week said.

Pierce claims DeGeneres invaded her privacy by airing her name and phone number, as well as intentionally inflicted emotional distress.

Pierce is seeking unspecified monetary damages and is asking for the episode in question to no longer be allowed on air.
