Louisville Reporter Headed to DC

WJLA News Director Mitch Jacob continues his hiring spree of on air talent.

The latest Reporter to be making the jump to the Sinclair DC station is Anna-Lysa Gayle. Gayle spent the last two years at WLKY in Louisville and now is headed to WJLA.

Gayle knows the DC area, she went to Howard University and interned at WTTG in Washington. Now she's headed back to DC as a Reporter.

Here is the internal email that Jacob sent to the staff and obtained by FTVLive: 

Please join me in welcoming reporter Anna-Lysa Gayle to the ABC7/NewsChannel8 team. Anna-Lysa is familiar with the DMV as she is a proud graduate of Howard University. She began her television career in Harrisonburg, VA and is now working at WLKY in Louisville, KY. Her first day with us will be July 18th.
