Ummmm.... you know we hate to say we told you so....but....
KABC in LA announced Today that they are starting a 3PM newscast.
Of course, this comes as no surprise to FTVLive readers. On May 12TH FTVLive wrote:
“Sources tell FTVLive that KABC news managers have spent much of the past few days in News Director Rob Elmore’s office. Word is that the station is looking into the possibility of launching a 3PM newscast and getting it on the air by the end of the month.
”
The new newscast kicks of next Tuesday and it is a big slap in the face to KNBC which announced that they are starting a 4PM newscast at the same time.
