Cleveland Scripps Station Makes Big Changes to The Now

WEWS in Cleveland is making some big changes to The Now and they are doing it right now. 

The station is not waiting for the May book to finish before blowing up The Now anchor desk.

The Now has been airing on the station at 4PM and has been struggling in the ratings. The station has now decided to move their main Anchors to the show to try and give it a ratings boost. 

Here is the internal email, obtained by FTVLive,  sent to the staff from News Director Jeff Harris
 
I wanted to let you know that beginning tomorrow, Danita Harris and Chris Flanagan will be anchoring the NOW at 4pm.   Without getting into too many details, I believe that moving the main anchor team to this newscast will give us our best shot to grow the entire evening news block.  Dhom and Mike have poured their hearts into the NOW from its inception and I’m incredibly thankful for their dedication to the show.  I’m working with them individually on establishing their next role in the newsroom.
