Sometimes when you say something is going to happen "any second now" you have to wait a whole bunch of seconds for it to come true.

WHNS Fox Carolina was doing a live shot from the fair and viewers were expecting to see the Human Cannonball shot out over a fair ride and landing into a net.

The Reporter counted down from 10 and the suspense was building and THEN......

well....nothing.

So, the Reporter, who obviously failed Reporter ad-libbing in Journalism school, went to his go to line which was, "any second now...." and we heard it over and over and over again.

What about the guy in the cannon?
