They say there's 'no place like home', and WGN is making that happen for a new sports anchor.
Lauren Magiera is joining the WGN sports team from the Green Bay Packers where she was the co-host of the NFL team's pre-game show and field reporter. Prior to the Packers, she was the sports director at WAOW and worked at KTUU in Anchorage.
I guess if you're tough enough to run the Iditarod and brave bears and moose to get to work, Chicago should be a breeze.
