Ripa's Return Pulls Big Numbers

Proof that people just can't look away from a train wreck, Kelly Ripa's return from her hissy fit, brought in big ratings. 

Ripa’s return to Live with Kelly and Michael on Tuesday scored a 4.7 rating/16 share in households in the 54 metered markets, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Those numbers were up 62% from the week before. 

With Strahan winding down his stint at the show over the next couple of weeks, Live is expected to see ratings rise. 

Maybe in the November book, Ripa can have another meltdown and goose the ratings again.
