Will You Watch Us if We Pay You?

Well, it appears that WEWS in Cleveland does not have enough faith in their product to get viewers, so they will resort to bribes.

For the May book, the Scripps station is giving away $1000 cash each day to try and entice viewers to watch their morning newscast. 

Want the chance to win $1000 from NewsChannel 5? Of course you do! 

The station says that all you need to do, is simply fill out the information and plan to watch Good Morning Cleveland everyday during May Sweeps. 

When viewers see their name they need to call the station by 7am to claim their prize.

In other words, no one is to answer the phone at WEWS until 7:01AM each morning during sweeps.
