Michael Strahan is ready to move on from Kelly Ripa and all the drama.
The co-host of "Live with Kelly and Michael" says that he is leaving earlier than planned.
After Kelly Ripa's hissy fit about him going to Good Morning America full time, Strahan will be saying goodbye much sooner than originally planned.
ABC said Strahan will bow out on the May 13 edition of the syndicated morning show, allowing producers and co-host Kelly Ripa time to begin auditioning guest hosts to fill his shoes.
Strahan and Ripa were not on the best of terms before this latest drama and ABC obviously feels it's time to pull the rip cord and get Strahan out of there ASAP.
