240 Years of Experience Walks Out of KHOU

For those that don't think the Tenga buyouts will have any impact on stations, let's look at KHOU in Houston.

KHOU 11 anchor Shern-Min Chow posted a picture of Facebook of 9 staffers at the station that have decided to take the buyout, before they were pushed out.

In total, the staffers have a combined 240 years of TV experience. Some of those staffers jobs will not be filled, others will be replaced by someone much younger and much cheaper.

In Today's TV world, it's no longer about the product as much as it is about the money. 

And that my friends is very sad.
