Adding News in The Springs

A Palm Springs station is about to tack on more news to their broadcast day.
OTA Broadcasting, which operates KMIR /KPSE in Palm Springs, CA, announced today that beginning Monday March 29th KMIR will add an additional newscast to their schedule.
KMIR NEWS: FIRST @ 4:30PM
Gene Steinberg, VP / General Manager of KMIR stated that ““Where the News Comes First”, is not just a slogan, it’s our commitment to the Coachella Valley and by adding a 4:30pm newscast we’ll be bringing our viewers the latest breaking news in a timelier manner.”

FIRST @ 4:30P, comes after the recent weekend additions of KMIR NEWS @ 5P on both Saturdays and Sundays. With the addition of FIRST @ 4:30P, KMIR News will produce more programming than any station in the Palm Springs market.
