Replacing the Legend in OKC

It was a bitter/sweet promotion for a Oklahoma City Sports Anchor.

KFOR has named Brian Brinkley its new Sports Director at the station. 

He replaces Bob Barry Jr. who was killed in car accident last summer.  Bob Jr. replaced his dad Bob Sr. as the station's Sports Director and now the station has handed the job to Brinkley.

Brinkley has been with KFOR since 1992 serving under both Bob Sr and Bob Jr.

Brinkley has filled in as the Sports Director since Barry's death, but the station waited until they officially filled the position.
