"Just Call Me _____"

A few days ago, FTVLive told you how the suits at Sinclair were running out of things to do, so they directed one of their stations to stop referring to their anchorman, by his last name.

WOAI's Randy Beamer is probably the most well-known anchor in San Antonio and has been referred to as 'Beamer', for decades. After the memo leaked to FTVLive directing staff to call him 'Randy' or 'Randy Beamer' on-air, the assistant ND sent out another memo, asking the culprit to come forward.

Instead of worrying about the culprit, they should be more worried about the fact that Randy Beamer's own station bio says, "...he'd rather you just call him Beamer." How ironic!
