Des Moines Weatherman still M-I-A

Back in April of last year, KCCI Chief Meteorologist John McLauglin was knocked off the air by an auto immune disease. 

The station did a story and said that McLauglin should return to work at the end of May. May came and went and their longtime Weatherman did not return.

In October the station posted another update saying that McLauglin would be off their air until the end of the year.

Now, two months into 2016 and McLauglin has not returned and the station isn't saying much.

Word is that KCCI just posted a position for a Meteorologist.

Could McLauglin's career at KCCI be over? 

It appears that the station might be moving that way.
