KING To Name News Director

Our sources are telling us that KING-TV is about to name their next ND. Word is, assistant ND Cheryl Carson is getting promoted. Prior to KING, Carson was Senior Executive Producer for KTTV in LA for 11 years.
The position at KING has been vacant since Mark Ginther jumped ship from the Belo turned TEGNA station, for KXAS in Dallas.
Sources say the announcement of Carson as ND, could come sometime today. But don't tell management, they think it's a surprise.
