/After watching Sunday's Super Bowl on CBS, many viewers turned off the TV for the night after the game.
When they woke up Monday morning, turned on the tube, it was still tuned into CBS and that gave CBS This Morning its best ratings in 15 years.
The show delivered 4.71 million viewers Monday marking CBS’s largest single-day morning news audience in 15 years according to Nielsen.
The show was just 360,000 viewers away from the #1 spot in the morning. It's the closest they have been in over a decade.
The Super Bowl hangover had CBS This Morning's ratings up 33% from their Monday average.
