Out the Door in Dallas

WFAA (Dallas) has parted ways with one of their Anchors and is now looking to fill the job.

Word is that the station did not renew the contract of Weekend Morning Anchor Carla Wade.

Wade was hired by the station 3 years ago, coming from KOCO in Oklahoma City.

She started at the station as the Weekend Eveing Anchor, but was then knocked down to the morning shows.

Ed Bark reports that Wade, who could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday, has been taken off the weekend anchor schedule but may be required to continue reporting until her contract officially expires later in January.

The station has posted an ad for her job.
