Wow! How Much?

According to WREG (Memphis) a monster snowstorm is headed to the East coast and could dump as much as TWO INCHES OF SNOW!!!!

Wait!

What?!

Since when is 2 inches considered a monster?

I'm hoping they meant to say feet, otherwise TV news hype has really jumped the shark.
