Tampa Station Hires New ND

WTSP in Tampa has finally gotten around to hiring a new news boss.

FTVLive told you back in July that after 5 1/2 years, Peter Roghaar was stepping down as the News Director and headed over to the station's sales department to work as an Account Executive. 

The station has hired WFMY News Director Bob Clinkingbeard.

Although the name sounds like someone you would see on Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, Clinkingbeard as been the ND at WFMY just over 5 years. 

This is not his first trip to the Sunshine Sate, From 2005-2008, Clinkingbeard. was the ND at WOFL in Orlando.
