Milwaukee Station to Drop Newscast

Although you can expect this to happen a lot in 2017, WTMJ in Milwaukee is doing it now.

The station is dumping their 3PM newscast and replacing it with a syndicated talk show.

While many stations are adding newscasts to take advantage of big political dollars to be spent in the next year, WTMJ is saying bye bye to the 3PM newscast and replacing it with a new syndicated lifestyle/talk show hosted by Tyra Banks.

The change happens Today.

"As a whole, it was going to better serve our viewers to be not (airing) news"  said WTMJ General Manager Joe Poss.

Huh?! So replacing news with another talk show is serving the viewers better?

Mr. Poss might want to check his pants, because I have a feeling they are on fire.
