Oklahoma's first female Chief Meteorologist, Jennifer Zeppelin is leaving KTUL (Tulsa) and following her husband to Omaha. Her husband has accepted a job at Creighton University.

Zeppelin had been the Chief Met at Sinclair's Tulsa ABC affiliate since 2011 it is expected that she will land at a station in Omaha once she relocated there.

It did not take long for the station to name her replacement.

Weekend Weather Anchor Mike Collier took to social media to say the main job is now his.

Collier a Tulsa native will be the new Chief Met for the station.

The search for his replacement begins.
