Buzz Feed's Editor In Chief Ben Smith used Twitter to likely torpedo the career of former Fox News Reporter Jana Winter.
Winter is best known for being first to report that theater killer James Holmes had sent a notebook to his University of Colorado psychiatrist Lynn Fenton with details about his premeditated plan to kill people before he allegedly did so.
She left Fox News shortly after that and joined The Intercept as a Reporter.
Obviously, Winter is not very happy in her job at The Intercept and told Buzz Feed's Smith so in a series of direct messages on Twitter.

It wasn't long before Smith was called out and he claimed in was an accident.
Either way, it appears that Jana Winter is leaving The Intercept, either by her doing, or because of Ben Smith's "accident."
