Houston Reporter Leaving for PR

KRIV Reporter Hilary Whittier is signing off from the station after a year and a half to go into PR.
Whittier joined KRIV in February 2014 as a multimedia journalist, coming from WPIX in New York.
After just 1 1/2 years she wanted out and back to New York. She will be a communications specialist for Commercial Real Estate Services.
"Fox has been a wonderful adventure. It's a station full of good people that I now call my friends. I simply miss nyc. As cheesy as it may sound, my soul belongs there. After accomplishing a lot in the news business, I thought it was time to try something new. To take everything I have learned from the journalism world and apply it to a new career outside the hamster wheel of TV news."
