Anchor Gets Drunk on the Company's Dime

WSHV Anchor Channing Frampton did the old let's get drunk and see how the over-the-counter breathalyzers work. 

In his "exclusive" report, Frampton gets baked on a bottle of wine and then heads on over to the police department, where the cops slap the cuffs on him and throw him in the back of a patrol car.

Obviously the cuffs and car part were staged and he wasn't really arrested, but Frampton never said that in his report.

It is good, corny small market TV at its finest.
